Thomas Muller rules out Bayern exit

06 May 2014 - 15:06

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller has dismissed speculation that he could leave the Allianz Arena this summer.

  • Chelsea ready to sell four home-grown players
  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts

  • Manchester United have been strongly associated with a switch for the talented German international in recent weeks, with sources revealing that Muller would be the number one target for the Red Devils, should Louis van Gaal take the reigns at the club.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge hinted on Monday that 24-year-old could be part of the clear-out at the Bundesliga champions, but the player himself has played down any chances of that happening.

"I didn't invent the rumours, so I can't comment on them," The German star said."Let's say this: I'm certainly not about to move but I can't guarantee that forever."

Muller has scored 25 goals in 49 games for the Bavarian giants this season.
