Arsenal defender Thomas Vermaelen has received a number of offers from the Serie A,according to his agent.
The Belgian international has failed to cement his place in the first-team this season, following the excellent form of the central defensive pairing of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny.
Vermaelen's agent Alex Kroes has now revealed that the 28-year-old has several options to ponder on this summer, but would wait until the end of the World Cup finals in Brazil to come to any conclusion.
It is understood that the likes of Inter Milan, Napoli and AS Roma have shown interest in the former Ajax star.
“Many Italian clubs have shown an interest,” Kroes said. “But we'll have to wait until after the World Cup to discuss Thomas' future.”
