Manchester United are apparently set to beat arch rivals Manchester City to the services of Arsenal right-back Bacary Sagna in the summer, according to a report.
The French international tasted his first success with the Gunners last night as they clinched a 3-2 victory over Hull City in the FA Cup final.
However, The People claims that the 31-year-old could opt to join United, who are planning a major squad reshuffle this summer.
Adding to this, it is understood that the former Auxerre man could join the Red Devils, where he will play on a regular basis, rather than be second choice for the Citizens, behind Pablo Zabaleta.
Sagna joined the Gunners from Auxerre in the summer of 2007.
