Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the signing of one of the best performing strikers in the recently concluded Premier League season.

Recently crowned FA Cup champions are understood to be keen on landing a top-class striker this summer, and Swansea City hitman Wilfried Bony is considered to be the likely target for the club this summer.

 

According to The Mirror, manager Arsene Wenger is a keen admirer of the 25-year-old, and and will make a summer move for the player's services as he determined to provide stern competition to French international Olivier Giroud for the next campaign.

 

Bony joined the Swans for a club-record fee of £12m last summer.
