Arsenal to make return move for Kim Kallstrom?

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering a second move for Swedish international midfielder Kim Kallstrom. The player enjoyed a short loan spell with the Gunners last season, helping the North London club to FA Cup success.

  • Despite finding his opportunities in the first team limited at the Emirates, Kallstrom enjoyed himself so much playing under Arsene Wenger and his coaching staff that the midfielder has indicated he is already dreaming of an Arsenal return.

Kallsrom notably played a signifcant part in the Gunners' run to the FA Cup final, where the Swede scored an all important penalty against Wigan in the semi-final.

Arsene Wenger too is believed to be considering a second loan bid for the 31-year-old as he has been impressed with the midfielder's influence in the dressing room and support that he has given to young players.

Spartak Moscow, on the other hand, are known to favour a permanent sale for Kallstrom and are not interested in another loan spell. The midfielder could be sold for around £3.75 million which would offer a decent return on Spartak Moscow's original investment in the player.

Wenger is hoping to wrap up his deals for summer signings prior to the start of the World Cup in two weeks time.
