French striker Andy Delort is a surprise target for newly promoted Leicester City. The forward, who has scored 25 goals in just 40 games for Tours, is valued at around 4.5 million Euros by his club.
Delort has appeared once for France's under-20 side and is somewhat of a journeyman, having come through the youth ranks with Ajaccio before moving to Nimes, then returning to Ajaccio again and then later joining his current club Tours. The 22-year-old has also just finished the most successful season of his career, scoring 24 goals in 36 Ligue 2 games.
Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson is expected to sign at least five players ahead of the upcoming campaign and Delort is believed to be very high up the list of priorities on Pearson's shortlist.
