The Metro is reporting that Arsenal have agreed a deal with QPR to sign French forward Loic Remy and that the player will sign a four year contract at the Emirates. A deal will be announced in the next two weeks.
Remy spent last season on loan at Newcastle and impressed during his year long spell. Queens Park Rangers are ready to sell Remy and Arsenal are long term admirers of the forward.
With Olivier Giroud often tired from playing up front on his own with little rest last season, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been looking to sign another striker who will offer suitable competition for Giroud.
QPR have apparently accepted a bid of £10 million from the Gunners.
