Stoke City to make move for Diego Capel

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has been considering a move for Spanish international winger Diego Capel for over a year but it is understood that the Sporting Lisbon player is now finally ready to open talks with the Britannia Stadium side.

Capel moved to Sporting back in 2011 from Sevilla and has shown some impressive form there. He has yet to have moved to England despite a whole host of clubs expressing some interest in the former Barcelona youth prospect.

Sporting are hoping to recoup the majority of the 5 million Euros they spent on Capel back in 2011.
