Arsenal are believed to be inching closer to securing the services of Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall this summer.
The 29-year-old had a great season in his regard for the Bluebirds, and has attracted interest from a host of clubs, in spite of the club's relegation to the Championship in the first-coming.
Arsenal have been in the look-out for a top-class shot-stopper in recent weeks, following the departure of Lukasz Fabianski to Swansea City over the past month.
Reports now suggest that the 29-year-old Scotland international could be the player to join the Emirates in the summer, with the Gunner's hierachy open to offering as much as £8m for this services.
Marshall signed a new four-year deal with the Welsh outfit in February 2014.
