Carlos Vela to re-join Arsenal

Mexican international forward Carlos Vela will re-join Arsenal this summer, according to Real Sociedad's president. Vela joined Sociedad two seasons ago and the Gunners added a 3.5 million Euro release clause in the deal.

After scoring 16 goals in 34 games for Sociedad, Arsene Wenger took note and decided to re-sign the player.

Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay confirmed that Vela would be moving back to London: "Arsenal have informed us that Vela would be with them next season."
