Man Utd and England forward Danny Welbeck sat out England training today, amidst fears that the player might miss his country's opening game against Italy on Saturday.

Last Tuesday Welbeck suffered a thigh injury at the England training base in Rio De Janeiro, leaving the England star unable to take part in the session. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also sat out the training session.
