Barcelona winger Cristian Tello is a target for Everton manager Roberto Martinez, with the Toffees hoping to secure a loan deal for the 22-year-old.

The coveted Spaniard has long been attracting the interest of numerous English sides and Everton are amongst the first to send a scout to Barcelona B's most recent games to prepare a dossier on the winter.

Tello has so far been on the fringes of Barcelona's first team and so could leave the club in search of regular top football. Everton have already had Gerard Deulofeu on loan last season from Barca.
