Monaco to swoop for Ashley Cole?

Monaco are ready to make Ashley Cole their highest paid player and sign the free agent to a two year contract at the Ligue 1 side.The former Chelsea defender is understood to have already opened talks with Monaco and has given full indication that a move to France appeals.

Ashley Cole is said to be open to a move if the club offers a three year deal. Monaco have a squad full of world class superstars, with the likes of Radamel Falcao amongst the quality available in their side.
