Portuguese manager Carlos Queiroz has confirmed that he will stand down as manager of Iran after the World Cup. The 61-year-old is frustrated with the lack of government funding.
Queiroz took charge of the Iranian national team in 2011.
"Yes my connection will finish here at the World Cup," confirmed Queiroz.
"There was not support from the government - there has stopped being a genuine interest because of the financial situation."
