Chelsea eyeing move for Leicester City manager?

Chelsea have identified Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca as a strong candidate to become their next head coach.

The Blues mutually parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino earlier this week and they are now eyeing a young replacement.

The club prefer a promising manager over a marquee one and they have earmarked Maresca as one of their main targets.

The 44-year-old helped the Foxes to secure promotion from the Championship at the first time of asking this term.

He has definitely enhanced his reputation as a result, and the Blues seem convinced that he could be the right man for the role.

Aside from Maresca, the west London giants are also looking at Ipswich Town's Kieran McKenna amid his tremendous work.

He has helped the Tractor Boys to secure back-to-back promotions but he is now considering a bigger challenge with a new club.

Any interested team can pursue his services for a compensation fee of around £6 million before the start of next season.
