Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has revealed that the La Liga champions are yet to agree a deal with Chelsea over the transfer of Diego Costa during the upcoming transfer window.
The talented Spain international has played a crucial role in the club's success in recent seasons, and scored an impressive tally of 35 goals in all competitions for the Basque club last term as they clinched the La Liga title after an 18-year wait.
Cerezo had insisted that the Blues have yet to make a formal offer with the Spanish giants over the 26-year-old.
"We don't know anything about Costa, all we know is that Chelsea have made contact but we haven't received any money or anything else yet," He said."Until we receive the money from his buy-out clause, he remains an Atletico player."
Chelsea have only signed Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona this summer.
