Rio Ferdinand set to join Queens Park Rangers?

24 June 2014 - 00:11

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is believed to have agreed on a deal to join newly promoted Premier League side Queens Park Rangers for next season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The veteran defender ended his 12-year-stint with the Red Devils last season, and is currently in search of a new club, with several clubs in the MLS interested in his services.

However, The Mail claims that the R's boss Harry Redknapp has managed to convince the 35-year-old to remain in the Premier League and play for the West Londoners during the next campaign.

Ferdinand will take a pay-cut to join his former boss at Loftus Road.
