Bafetimbi Gomis to join Swansea

26 June 2014 - 06:45

Swansea City are on the verge of wrapping up a deal for French forward Bafetimbi Gomis. The Lyon man had been linked with a transfer to QPR and Everton but Welsh side Swansea have won the race for his signing.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Man Utd interested in signing Aurelien Tchouameni
  • Interestingly, Swansea were amongst the most recent teams to have tabled an offer for Gomis as both QPR and Newcastle have been linked with a move for the player for over 18 months. Reports from France suggest that a deal worth approximately 16 million euros will be wrapped up in the coming week. Gomis is expected to sign a five year deal at the Liberty Stadium.
