Nwankwo Kanu has agreed to stay at Portsmouth for another season signing a contract is initially one year, but after Kanu plays a certain amount of games a clause is activated in his contract which extends the contract for another season.
Kanu had asked for the African Nations to be taken into account as well as injuries. Kanu this season must do battle with two new additions to the Portsmouth strike force, Nigerian team mate John Utaka and David Nugent.
