Liverpool are reportedly set to open up talks with Barcelona over the potential transfer of Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan international has been constantly linked with an exit from the Reds since last summer, and his biting incident during the World Cup finals has finally forced manager Brendan Rodgers into allowing his sale, with the player set to miss out at least nine games from next season's Premier League.
Reports from Spain reveal that the 27-year-old is keen on a move to La Liga, with Barcelona and Real Madrid leading the race for his signature.
However, Liverpool will not entertain offers of less than £80m for their prized asset, but could be tempted to lower their price, should Barcelona offer Alexis Sanchez as part of the deal.
Suarez has notched up 82 goals in 133 appearances for Liverpool so far.
