Nacho Fernandez has signed a new long-term deal with the Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Nacho, who plays as a central defender, has been rarely selected for the Real Madrid first team. He made just 12 La Liga appearances last season.
His contract has now been extended until the end of 2020-21 season. He was part of the squad which won the La Liga in the 2011-12 season and Copa del Rey and Champions League titles last season.
He arrived to the Real Madrid youth system at the age of 11 and made his La Liga debut on 23 April 2011 against Valencia.
After the departure of Raul Albiol, he proved to be more important for the senior team squad at the start of last season.
