Defender Ashley Williams has committed to Swansea City and signed a brand new contract at the club. The Welsh defender agreed a deal until 2018.
Sunderland and West Ham were both believed to have made a bid for the defender but it appears the experienced centre back has decided to stay in Wales for now.
"I’m delighted to sign a new contract at Swansea City," quipped Williams. "I’ve enjoyed fantastic success at this club and I want to keep helping Swansea City progress."
