Mourinho may consider FA job

03 December 2007 - 17:07

Jose Mourinho's media advisor Eladio Parames has admitted that should the FA offer him the England role, he would consider it. The ex-Chelsea boss is keen to discuss the vacant England manager's role with the FA.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Mourinho's media adviser, Eladio Parames, has said he would be happy to discuss any offer from the FA.

"It would be an honor," Parames said.

"He likes English soccer, the English people, the country, the players. It would be something he'd consider. But he's not waving his hand in the air trying to get (the FA's) attention. If he's approached, he'll reply."

When questioned regarding the possibility of joining AC Milan, Parades responded: "These are lies; Jose is not waiting for an approach from these clubs.

"Jose has had no approach from any club and no one has contacted Jorge [Mendes]. If there is an approach from the FA, Jose will decide."
