Liverpool have agreed terms with Lille to sign Belgium international striker Divock Origi. The forward, who had an impressive World Cup tournament, has been linked with a move to Anfield as a long term replacement for Luis Suarez, who is heading to Barcelona.
Origi, who was a relative unknown prior to the tournament, has attracted the interest of many teams from several different divisions all over Europe but the Premier League side appear to have won the race for the youngster's signature.
The player has apparently been offered a 5 year contract by Brendan Rodgers' side and the club are to pay £10 million to Lille for the forward.
Completion of a deal will largely depend on the transfer of Luis Suarez to Barcelona, but the two clubs have apparently already agreed on a £75 million fee.
