The talented midfielder has been on the Red Devil\'s radar over the past month, following a credible show for the Chilean national side during the World Cup finals in Brazil.

According to The Metro, United boss Louis van Gaal has managed to convince Juve to let go of their prized asset for a fee in the region of £32m, with veteran full-back Patrice Evra likely to be offered as make-weight in the prospective deal.

It is understood the 27-year-old has set his sights on a move to the Premier League, and will undergo a medical with the Mancunian giants during the upcoming week.
