Porto sign Adrian Lopez

Porto and Atletico Madrid have agreed a 15 million euro deal to sign striker Adrian Lopez. Diego Simeone, the Atleti coach, decided to sell Lopez after the arrival of Mario Mandzukic.

The 26-year-old signed a four year contract and has flown out to join his new Porto teammates for pre-season training.

An Atletico Madrid statement read: \"Atletico Madrid and Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Adrian Lopez to the Portuguese club.

\"The Asturian striker leaves for the team that is coached by Spaniard Julen Lopetegui and with whom he has passed his medical.

\"From the club we wish Adrian the best of luck in this new stage of his footballing career.\"
