Juventus have sent three representatives to London this weekend to discuss a potential transfer for Tottenham midfielder Paulinho. Juve have apparently already made a bid of £22.5 million.
The Brazilian midfielder has had a decent start to life in the Premier League, at times showing flashes of brilliance for Spurs but seemingly there remains question marks about whether or not he is the right man for the job at Tottenham. Spurs' chairman Daniel Levy has been in talks with club manager Mauricio Pochettino regarding Paulinho and whilst the head coach wants to keep hold of the player, a big money bid from abroad could be hard to resist.
Paulinho played regularly for Brazil at the World Cup and caught the eye of Bianconceri scouts who are rumoured to have been instructed to find a world class replacement for Arturo Vidal, the Chilean midfielder who could end up playing in the Premier League this coming season as Manchester United ramp up their interest in a transfer for the player.
Spurs representatives will reportedly meet Juventus' on Monday afternoon and a deal for Paulinho could be completed by the end of this month.
