Lionel Messi has rejected an offer from Inter Milan for his services. The president, Massimo Moratti, is known to be a long-term admirer of the Argentinian playmaker, and although he is flattered by the interest has no intention of leaving Barcelona.

  • Inter patron Massimo Moratti revealed his admiration to the Argentine's talents, and is believed to be among several interested parties.



    "I have Barcelona in my heart and I expect to stay here for a long time, that is my decision for the moment," Messi told Radio del Plata.



    "I am very thankful to the people of Inter because they have been interested in me and I am very thankful to the president Massimo Moratti for the very nice words that he said about me.



    "I am very proud that such an important person said very nice things about me."
