Aston Villa are on the verge of wrapping up a deal for central midfielder Ki Sung-yueng from Swansea City on a permanent deal, with the South Korean signing a four year contract at Villa Park.
The Korean spent last season at Sunderland and played 27 games for Gus Poyet's side, but generally failed to impress and now will be heading elsewhere. Aston Villa are said to have already agreed a fee with the Welsh club and the player will fly to Birmingham for talks this afternoon.
Ki Sung-Yueng spent three years playing for Celtic before making a move to Swansea City back in 2012.
