Vidal staying at Serie A?

Vidal not for sale?

16 July 2014 - 14:21

Man United hold a strong interest in the Chile star, but his current club Juventus remain adamant that he will not depart Serie A this summer.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • The Chilean has been heavily pursued by Van Gaal as they look to add to their midfield options, and recently admitted that he would love to play for "one of the biggest clubs in the world".

Speculation over Vidal's future increased on Tuesday, when Juve manager Antonio Conte suddenly left his post amid rumours of a disagreement over transfers.

But, at the unveiling of Conte's successor Massimiliano Allegri, the Italian champions have denied Vidal's sale.

"Vidal is not for sale, he is one of the most important players in the squad. He is our player, big clubs asked for him but he'll stay and he's happy here. We’ve never put him up for sale," He said.

It has been reported that Juventus is asking for a high bid for the World Cup Chilean star and the Red Devils are not budging on their decided price.
