French international attacker Hatem Ben Arfa is wanted by Monaco. The former Marseille man has not been given a squad number this season.
The talented winger is expected to leave the Toon in favour of a return home after manager Alan Pardew deemed the player surplus to requirements. Newcastle will sell for around 12 million euros. Monaco are winning the race to sign Ben Arfa and have already agreed a deal in principle.
