Manchester United left back Patrice Evra will undergo a medical at Juventus today. The French defender has already agreed a two year contract at the Serie A side, who will pay a reported 3.65 million euros for his services.
After Louis Van Gaal's side completed the signing of Luke Shaw, Evra apparently had been deemed surplus to requirements and has now been sold to Juventus.
Evra's contract had expired at the end of last season but Man Utd executed their right to extend the Frenchman's deal for a further year.
Despite his new deal, it appears that United were always ready to sell Evra and his departure means that United are likely to look for yet another left back, having already sold Alexander Buttner on this summer.
Evra is to earn 90,000 euros per week on his fresh contract at Juventus.
