Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on the signing of Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm, according to Sky Sports.
The 30 year old, who was part of the Netherlands squad at this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil, has been negotiating with the North London club for over a week.
Spurs are the only Premier League side not to bring in any new players this so far this summer.
If the Vorm deal is successfully concluded, he will compete with France international Hugo Lloris for the number one spot, while veteran keeper Brad Friedel recently signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
Spurs begin the Premier League season with a trip to West Ham United.
