Tottenham midfielder Lewis Holtby has been linked with a loan move to Leicester City. The German youngster spent last season on a temporary basis at Fulham.

The former Schalke man has struggled at White Hart Lane but is adamant that he will prove himself in the Premier League. Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino is apparently ready to let Holtby leave for a move elsewhere and newly promoted Leicester City are an option.

The Foxes have contacted Spurs regarding Holtby's availability and are confident a deal will be wrapped up before the start of the new season.
