The talented star dubbed as the 'Dutch Xavi' is regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Eredivisie, and has caught the eye of several top clubs in Europe.

Southampton were reckoned to be eyeing a move for the Netherlands international, but latest reports reveal that the Red Devils are leading the race for the 22-year-old, who has previously plyed his trade for manager Louis van Gaal in the national setup.

Clasie has made 144 appearances for Feyenoord until now.
