Manchester United have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal this summer.
The Chile international has been constantly linked with a switch to the Red Devils in recent weeks, and it further intensified following reports that he had agreed to sell his house based in Turin.
FIFA-registered agent Giulio Tedeschi had revealed that the 27-year-old would join the Mancunian giants in the 'second week of August'.
However, the talented midfielder has poured cold water onto proceedings by claiming that he is not interested in a switch to Old Trafford.
"I don't know if I will stay at Juventus, I'm happy here in Turin," Vidal said. "I will talk with [Juventus coach Massimo] Allegri on Monday. I'm not going to Manchester."
