Liverpool star hints at shock exit

Liverpool's legendary midfielder Steven Gerrard has revealed that he could opt to follow Frank Lampard to the MLS before he retires from professional football.

  • The former England international has played at the Merseyside giants for all his career, and is understood to be keen on heaping a strong challenge for the Premier League title in the upcoming season.

    According to the Mirror, the 34-year-old is looking at signing a new deal at Anfield, but could be tempted to try a fresh challenge abroad should the opportunity come by.

    Gerrard has scored 173 goals in 669 appearances for the Reds in his career so far.
