Arsenal rule out move for Juan Quintero

Despite having been linked with a move for Porto star Juan Quintero, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has ruled out a transfer for the Colombian attacking midfielder. Quintero impressed at the World Cup.

Yesterday Arsenal were amongst the teams believed to be chasing Quintero for a summer move, but this morning Arsene Wenger has scotched reports of an imminent transfer bid for the 21-year-old starlet.

"That’s wrong [on Quintero]. We do not master all the noises that come out," said Arsene.

Quintero has also been linked with a transfer to Fiorentina and Borussia Dortmund.
