Porto forward Jackson Martinez will sign a new four year contract next week. The player, who has long been linked with a move to Arsenal, has decided to extend his current deal and remain in the Portuguese league for the near future.
The Colombian international has been locked in talks with his club for most of the summer and at one point looked to be heading for the exit door. However, according to Portuguese publication O Jogo, Martinez is now set to renew his deal.
Martinez has scored 46 goals in 60 games for Porto since his arrival from Chiapas in 2012.
