La Liga side Sevilla have dismissed reports suggesting that they have reached an agreement over the sale of star defender Alberto Moreno to Liverpool this summer.
Reports earlier had revealed that the Reds had agreed on a transfer fee for the talented Spaniard, and the transfer could be struck after Sevilla's Super Cup encounter against Real Madrid at Cardiff on Tuesday.
However, this seems untrue, after club president Jose Castro revealed that the clubs have had negotiations over the player, but are yet to agree on any sort of fee.
"There has been a negotiation [over Moreno] 10 days ago but no agreement."It depends on them. I have said the price is set by us. If they pay the amount in a timely manner a deal will go through, and if not he will remain." He said.
