The Red Devils are expected to lose the services of Raphael Varane when his contract expires at the end of next month. He has decided to move on.

The club are eyeing a replacement with Premier League experience and reports claim that they are now considering an offer for Chalobah.

Chalobah spent most of last season on the sidelines with injuries. He made his comeback in the final weeks and was a regular starter for Chelsea.

Despite this, the Blues have made the decision to sanction his sale, considering they need to balance their books before June 30.

Chalobah\'s sale would represent pure profit, having come through the academy. It is left to be seen whether United can sign the 24-year-old.

The Mancunian giants capitalised on the Blues\' financial woes to sign Mason Mount last summer and could repeat the same with Chalobah.
