22-year-old Greek centre back Kostas Manolas is a surprise target for Arsenal. The Gunners have agreed a fee with Olympiakos for the player according to a report this morning.
The solid centre back has already been monitored by French club Monaco in pre-season but it is apparently Arsenal who have agreed a fee, according to goal. com. Manolas is being lined up by Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger as a replacement for Thomas Vermaelen, who joined Barcelona two weeks ago.
