Napoli to sign Jonathan de Guzman

Napoli will wrap up a deal with Villarreal to sign Dutch midfielder Jonathan De Guzman. The creative midfielder had been locked in talks with Swansea City over a move back to Wales.

De Guzman had a successful spell on loan in Wales and had been linked with a return to the Premier League. However, Rafa Benitez appears to have won the race to sign the free kick specialist and the player will arrive in Italy for talks this evening.

Villarreal will receive around 7 million euros transfer fee for the player.
