Roma show interest in Chelsea striker

Roma have reportedly made an enquiry over the availability of Chelsea striker Fernando Torres during the current transfer window.

The Capital outfit are understood to be keen on making good progress in the Champions League this season, as well as compete for the Serie A title.

According to The Mail, the Rome outfit are willing to offer Mattia Destro in a player-exchange deal for Spain international Fernando Torres.

Torres' chances at Stamford Bridge are likely to be limited for the season, following the arrival of Diego Costa and Didier Drogba at the West London club this summer.
