Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck is reportedly keen on making a switch to Tottenham Hotspur before the conclusion on the transfer window.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 23-year-old is considered surplus to requirements at Old Trafford, and manager Louis van Gaal is keen on offload him before the transfer deadline.

Welbeck has attracted interest from the likes of Hull City and Sunderland in recent weeks, but the prospect of playing for a top club in Spurs seems to be his priority.

According to The Mirror, the England international could join the North London outfit in either a £15m permanent transfer or a loan move.

United are also closing in on the services of Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria.
