Lucas Silva will be a Manchester United player before the end of the transfer window, according to press reports emanating from Brazil. The Cruzeiro midfielder will arrive in the United Kingdom for talks at some point this week.
The creative midfielder has been monitored for several months by Louis van Gaal's side and the skillful youngster looks set to make a move to the Premier League shortly. A fee of around $8.5 million has been agreed with the Old Trafford side and now talks will commence with the player.
"There are not many details that I can tell you, but I can confirm that I was approached by people linked to Manchester United," the player's agent Luis Rocha told Super Esportes. "We are now just waiting for the official proposal."
