  • The Czech international is believed to be disillusioned with life at Stamford Bridge, following manager Jose Mourinho's decision to select Thibaut Courtois as his first-choice shot-stopper.

A report from The Mail suggests that the 32-year-old is keen on a stay in London, and the Hoops have emerged as front-runners to secure his signature before the transfer deadline.

It is believed that Mourinho is unwilling to sell the player to a Premier League rival.
