Roma's captain Francesco Totti has claimed that his side must avoid Barcelona in the next round of the Champions League. Roma finished second in the league behind Manchester United in their group.
"To win the Champions League you have to meet almost everyone," the former Italian international told Sky Italia.
"We finished second so we absolutely have to meet a big side, someone like Chelsea, Barcelona or Real Madrid. I would only hope to avoid Barca."
Nevertheless, Totti is confident Roma can cause an upset in Europe's premier competition.
"In the squad we have players who have played at an international level. We have a strong unit and we can scare some people if we carry on down this road.
"The boss is able to change players and give everyone a game. All the players and staff believe in our cause."
