Inter Milan are reportedly mulling over a January bid for Liverpool striker Fabio Borini, according to a report.
Borini, who joined the Reds from Roma in the summer of 2012, failed to live up to the club's expectations, and was subsequently shipped out on loan to Sunderland last season.
Widespread reports claimed that Sunderland could seal a permanent deal for the Italian international. However, the 23-year-old rejected the switch as he was keen on fighting for a place in the first-team as the Anfield outfit.
According to The Express, Inter could be tempted into making a move for Borini, as they are likely to offload either Fredy Guarin or Zdravko Kuzmanovic this winter.
Borini has made 20 appearances for Liverpool so far.
