05 September 2014 - 00:02

Arsenal's World Cup winner Lukas Podolski has denied speculation that had linked him with an exit from the Emirates during the recently concluded transfer window.

  • Arsenal handed injury boost on defender ahead of Bournemouth clash
  • Chelsea planning shock move for Man City winger?

  • Reports revealed that the German international was seeking option elsewhere, following Wenger's decision to keep Joel Campbell at the club for the season.

However, the former Bayern man has rejected the claims insisting that he had no offers to leave the Gunners. In addition to this, he also revealed that manager Arsene Wenger has faith in his abilities and he has no one to fear about at the North London club.

"A move away from Arsenal did not fall through because I had no offers to move.

"I had a very good conversation with the manager. He has stressed he is putting trust in me and my qualities. I do not have to fear anyone at Arsenal." He said.

Podolski joined the Gunners from FC Cologne in the summer of 2012.
